As a seminar course, it is essential that you attend the lectures and read the required papers. Each class will assume that you have read and are ready to discuss the day’s readings.
To support you in reading the papers we will provide a reading prompt for each class that will highlight some of the ideas, questions or concerns we think you should consider as you do the reading.
We will require you to submit a written/printed response to the prompt at the begining of each class. Your class participation grade will consider your reponses as well as your in-class participation in the subsequent discussion.
The main page of the course website has a Reading Prompt link for each class meeting that will take you to a google doc where you can access the prompt.
